Ocean Escape Attempt near Palisades?

Heard some whispers floating around about a wild scene near the Pacific Palisades. A few folks mentioned there was a suspect who apparently took a dip in Santa Monica Bay to try and get away, but didn't quite make it. Sounds like they were pulled out and arrested. Anyone else hear more?
