Pumpkins & Lolla: A Blast from the Past

So this little tidbit about The Smashing Pumpkins caught my eye. Can you believe they haven't played Lollapalooza since way back in 1994?Seems wild for a band that big, especially with them being from Chicago. Anyone else find that surprising?
